Cause and Effect June 2009

We admit it! We’re a bit late with the second edition of Cause and Effect! But hopefully it was worth the wait. Check out the new stats on newspaper readership and take a look at a winning video PSA in this month’s edition.

On a different note, if you know us here at Ethos, you know we’re passionate about raising the level of public discussion about important public interest issues. From public education advocacy to housing and poverty to services for new immigrants and anti-racism initiatives, we’ve both worked and volunteered on some of Canada’s most pressing issues.

kerrisdale-days_0943.JPGOver the past few years Catherine and Helesia (moi) have been very involved in civic, provincial and national politics from a variety of perspectives. We’ve worked on the phones, at the doorstep and in front of the mic. And considering we belong to some different political parties, we consider Ethos truly a ‘pan-partisan’ office!

We are taking the knowledge we have gathered and are creating some resources for public interest groups who would like to communicate more effectively during campaign periods.

Check back for updates or contact us if you would like to know more.
